ABOUT OUR SERVICES
Quality Care Services, Inc. is a fully accredited Adult Foster Care provider working with persons diagnosed with a developmental disability or related conditions. Services begin with an Admissions meeting followed by a 45 day assessment to best determine the individual physical, social and environmental needs of the person.
Goals and objectives are determined by the Interdisciplinary Team and developed by the Program Director based upon strengths and areas that require enhancement to meet the unique needs of each person served.
QCS is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services Rule 245D and Stearns County.

OUR HISTORY
The Story Behind Quality Care
Business Establishment
Quality Care Services, Inc. was established in 1999 by Mike and Karen Zirbes.
In 2001 Mike approached Dave Schwartz who he had known through previous work and asked Dave to join the Quality Care Services (QCS) team.
As the business began to grow, Quality Care Services welcomed the additional family members to the team. In August 2002, Troy Schwartz began working in payroll and Jennifer Johnson became the Events and Wellness Coordinator. Dave’s wife, Kim, became HR Director in January 2005.
Advocating For Adults and Children With Disabilities
Our passion for being advocates for individuals with developmental disabilities started at a young age. All of us have personal connections and worked in the Human Service field before joining the Quality Care Services family. Also, Dave, Troy and Jennifer’s grandmother, Betty Pollreis, served as an advocate for children and adults with developmental disabilities which has inspired her grandchildren to be a part of Quality Care Services. Some of the children that used to benefit from the programs Betty helped organize now live in Quality Care Services Adult Foster Care homes.
Where We Are Now
Quality Care Services, Inc. currently has 8 residential homes in the St. Cloud area, and we provide In-Home Family Support and Personal Supports. We have a team of quality staff that provide the necessary care to carry out our mission. We want to make a difference in each life, especially those with special needs.
